1. MOQ belongs to a specific order configuration
MOQ means minimum order quantity. A useful MOQ answer must identify the product, formula, bag weight and packaging configuration it applies to. A standard product in an agreed pack and a newly customized formula with new printed bags may require different commercial arrangements. Ask the supplier to state the configuration in writing.
2. Discuss formula and production requirements
Explain whether you want an existing sample or a change to ingredients, fragrance or granule format. Ask how the proposed customization affects the production plan and order conditions. For Petonly, MOQ is confirmed for the selected configuration; this guide does not publish a universal minimum for all products.
3. Ask about printed packaging separately
Clarify the chosen bag material, format, weight, design and carton arrangement. Ask whether packaging preparation has separate quantity requirements or costs and how these are reflected in the order. If you are comparing quotations, make sure the artwork and pack assumptions are comparable. Use our packaging checklist to prepare these details.
4. Separate sample evaluation from a commercial trial
A sample helps evaluate a product; a trial order tests a commercial configuration. Confirm the quantity, packaging, charges and intended purpose of each. Petonly recommends considering full-container orders for cost efficiency, while the feasibility and pricing of smaller trials must be discussed for the actual project.
5. Compare total order requirements
Review MOQ alongside unit pricing, packaging preparation, estimated timing and the agreed transport arrangement. Ask for the relevant packing dimensions and loading information before estimating freight. A lower quoted minimum is not automatically a better match if the formula, packaging or included services differ.
6. Request a quotation with a complete brief
Tell us your destination country, shortlisted tofu, cassava or mixed formula, bag weight, scent preference, artwork status and expected order. Our team can then discuss sample arrangements and commercial conditions through the OEM / ODM process. Keep the confirmed MOQ with the specification and quotation for your order.
